PPAG was established by the Government of Ghana through decree N° 2012/218/PR of November 14, 2012 to accelerate economic growth and development across Ghana.
The establishment of PPAG initiates a focused approach aimed at developing a modern procurement, logistics, and development corridor running the length of Ghana and servicing its economy and those in the hinterland.

PPAG has oversight for the Strategic Fund, Identify and support specific programs and activities that assist Rural Economies.
